Suerteksa UAB have a healthy order book on projects being implemented abroad. The biggest projects are:
1. in France – approx 50 people. Potential order book stretches till 2022.
2. In Finland – approx 30 people. Potential order book cover 2018-2019.
3. In USA – approx 20 own people + local staff.
Above projects are concentrated on shipbuilding orders for steel assembling, welding and piping works.
New projects are in the pipeline and will be opened from autumn and involve as minimum as 20-30 people.

Suerteksa UAB have reached 160 employee level. Steady but not too fast growth from year to year is a sign of stable company development supported by projects abroad and production portfolio in Klaipeda.

Workshop is busy as never before

Production facilities in Klaipeda are busy as never before. A lot of standard and tailor-made steel components are being produced for shipyards in Finland and France. The workload is stable and covers several months ahead. Apart of just normal assembling and welding works, Suerteksa scope includes mechanical treatment, blasting and painting in its own facilities.

Recent investments

Suerteksa continue investments into its production facilities located in Klaipeda, Silutes 101. One of the recent – Motoman robotic arm for welding under any angle and position for components up to 1000×1000 mm and weight up to 200 kg.
This equipment will be put into operation after final adjustment and fine-tuning and will be used for series production of standard steel components.

Painting hall

Suerteksa have put in service its new painting hall. It is located next to blasting chamber. Size of the hall 8×12 m (96 m2). Door size 5.5 m.
Painting hall is equipped with water air filter system, heating system and new painting mix devices. Painting operators have wide experience in surface treatment and in combination with new facilities ensure good quality and reliability of the services. Having its own blasting and painting facilities will improve Suerteksa competitiveness on local market.

Ramps produced for Swedish terminal

Suerteksa UAB produced several ramps for new Swedish customer. They will be used on Ro-Ro terminal in harbor. Steel ramps were Sa 2,5 blasted inside Suerteksa blasting chamber and painted with special 5 coat painting scheme including special anti-slip coat in the front part. On top of that ramps have some areas protected with rubber in order to reduce noise during operation.

Busy end of the year

Despite Christmas period, Suerteksa is busy with production and deliveries from its Klaipeda workshop. Orders for shipyards in Saint-Nazaire, Helsinki and Turku have been made and ready for shipment : steel hatches, zinc galvanized and painted catwalks, stainless holders and casings, steel ducts etc. Year 2016 was most busy for production facilities of Suerteksa in Klaipeda. It created over 1 m EUR of sales which is more than quarter of total revenue of the company. This is a record since workshop was established three years ago.

CNC abrasive water jet cutting machine

Suerteksa UAB have extended its CNC cutting equipment park. New water jet CNC machine is installed and in operation. Cutting table 2000×4000 mm. Water pressure 4000 bar. This machine is ideal for cutting any kind of material which can not be (or afraid) cut by flame or any other kind of heat: thin metal sheets, plastic, stone, gaskets and many other. By adding water-jet machine, From now Suerteksa now have all kind cutting facilities: gas, plasma, laser and water jet.
