Steel construction project for Belgium customer
On 4th of May Suerteksa successfully completed a project for Belgium based Iemants company. About 30 tons of different steel constructions were prefabricated in Suerteksa workshop in Klaipeda and shipped with a truck to Arendonk in Belgium. Numerous details were cut, pre-assembled, welded and machined where necessary. After delivery to the customer they will be used for renovation of scrubber on one industrial factory.
The project required performance according EN 1090 standard. An audit was made before start of production. Proper documenting was made during the whole project.
Collaboration between parties started in summer 2014 when Suerteksa was subcontracted by another Ieamants group member – Smulders company. That time Suerteksa was performing steelwork on wind-offshore project in Hoboken. Later in 2014-2015 Suerteksa participated on KREEKRAKBRUG bridge repair project in Rilland nearby Antwerpen.
Current steel constructions project for scrubber has extended cooperation between parties. Now Suerteksa is able to supply not only steelwork subcontracting services,but also to supply prefabricated components to the Belgium based group.
Parties plan to continue collaboration on long-term basis.
